HEAT RESISTANCE ALUMINUM PAINT.

Heat-resistant aluminium paint is a specialized paint designed to withstand high temperatures. It can withstand temperature as high as 600 degrees Celsius.

MATERIALS NEEDED 

 

1.Silicone Resin

2.Aluminum paste

3.Xylene

4.bentone

 

 FUNCTION OF MATERIAL

 

1. Silicone Resin:This is the thermoplastic binder and it  consists of  50% of the composition. when properly heat

cured, it will provide super protection against corrosion of ferrous metals and heat.

 

2. Aluminum paste: This is the pigment and provides the  color which support the

opacity, also protects the metal against any acidity.

 

3. Bentone: This is use to increase the viscosity in the heat resistance paint antisettling agent.

 

4. Xylene – this is one of the solvents that is compatible with silicone resin.

 

    QUANTITY OF   MATERIAL FOR 20 LITER 

 

1. Silicone resin 8.5kg

2. Aluminum paste 4kg

3. Bentone 0.6kg

4. Xylene 6 liters

 

PRODUCTION PROCEDURE 

 

Add silicone resin, Add half of the xylene then start the mixing machine then add

bentone, allow  it to grind properly then add aluminum paste then add the

Remaining xylene gradually so you can control the viscosity.
