In many traditional Igbo communities, sleeping with another man’s wife while the husband is still alive is historically regarded as a very serious offence — morally, socially, spiritually, and sometimes legally within customary law.
However, it is important to understand that Igbo culture is not completely uniform. Customs differ between communities in places like Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi, Delta Igbo areas, and parts of Rivers State. Still, there are broad traditional beliefs shared across many Igbo societies.
Westernization shouldn't make us forget the fact that the act of sleeping with another man's wife when he's still alive is an abomination in Igbo land.
Only the bad wagons, lesbi∆ns, divorcees, abandoned single m0thers, badly raised hookup champions, and frustrated vvomen celebrate such atrocious act.
Sleeping with a married woman when he could get access to any girl of his choice is an abomination in all Igbo customs and traditions, and that doesn't go away without some cleanings (ikpu alu and isa uchu).
Again, Frank Idoho wouldn't be in this mess if not for Western culture that has reduced the African man who could get himself as many wives that he can afford. Now the reason some damaged vvomen are celebrating this act is because he did this to a very civil and disciplined Frank Idoho, if he had tried this to some men, this issue wouldn't be in public domain because he would've been long forgotten. Many men who indulge in acts like this usually don't live to see another day. He's a very lucky boy. Every day is for the thieve but one day is for the owners.

Chike should be informed that, there're Spiritual consequences for sleeping with a married woman, whom's husband is still alive. In many traditional beliefs, adultery was not merely immoral, it could attract spiritual consequences.

Some communities believed it could cause:
* mysterious sickness,
* infertility,
* bad luck,
* death,
* or ancestral anger.
Among some Igbo groups, there were beliefs that secretly sleeping with another man’s wife could invoke curses or spiritual sanctions if rituals were not performed.
What advice do you have for Chike?
